Can't Decide? God Expects You To

Walking in the Spirit isn't about the specific decisions you need to make. It's about acknowledging the Lord. Our Father understands that you have to make decisions through the course of your day. He wants you to make those decisions with confidence.
In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths. - Proverbs 3:6 NKJV

In all your ways acknowledge Him.

With every decision you have to make there is information to base that decision on. God wants us to make good decisions based on His wisdom and council and He has armed us with the faculties to do so.

We are not robots and we don't want to be robots. Nor, does our Father. We are alive to Christ and He wants you to put Him first and learn to think like He thinks.
The LORD says, "I will guide you along the best pathway for your life. I will advise you and watch over you. Do not be like a senseless horse or mule that needs a bit and bridle to keep it under control." - Psalms 32:8-9 NLT
Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God’s will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect. - Romans 12:2 NLT
The key is not the decisions you make but your process for making decisions.

Geared Up

God has put his Spirit in you. He offers wisdom freely. He has given us His Word. He has given us authority in His name. We have open access to the throne room of heaven to make our requests. He wants us to change the way we think.

Go to Him first. Go to Him often. We are urged to do this with single-minded purpose.
The beginning of wisdom is: Acquire wisdom; And with all your acquiring, get understanding. - Proverbs 4:7 NASB

Sample Prayer

Lord I need to make a decision. I can choose A, B or C. I believe A is the best option based on the information I have. Please, guide me in this matter.

If your will is for me to make a different choice than A please guide me and/or provide me with more information as I desire to walk in your will for my life.
Let my cry come near before thee, O LORD: give me understanding according to thy word. - Psalms 119:169 KJV

You will seek Me and find Me.

Take Action!

Having trouble making decisions with confidence because you're not sure what the Lord wants you to do? 
This is the moment you have been waiting for! This is where you and the Lord get to bond as Father and child. Go to the Lord with your request. Know that He hears you. Know that fear is not part of your new make up. It's a remnant of your old self. Refuse it! You are a new creation of peace.
Let our Father do the miracle. 

Do you feel like you need more information? 
Then go get it but do it with joy knowing that our Father is guiding you. Can't find more information? Ask the Lord to give you what you need to make the best decision.
My experience has been, the tougher the situation seems, the bigger the work the Lord is doing on my behalf.

Galvanize Your Heart

Let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. What and how you think about life is extremely important. There is also another aspect of thinking that needs to be considered as well. That would be the priority of thinking. The scripture in Romans 12:2 NLT  does not ask us to change the way we feel. We need to change the way we think. Thinking is the part of your heart that the Lord is working on. So let's put a high priority on how we think. Pray. Think first. The emotions support and reinforce our resolve. The body gets us there and does the physical work. God is glorified. Think Like Jesus Thinks So what and how do we think?
